Peppa Pig family and characters

George is an energetic 2-year-old who does nothing by halves. He is an open book of big emotions and wears them on his sleeve confidently. George can be clumsy and messy as he barrels through life, but never intentionally mean or naughty. If he does something wrong or senses someone is upset, he is always ready with a hug. With his new hearing aid, George is exploring the world of sound, which can be both fascinating and overwhelming. He relies on his family for support when things get too loud and sometimes needs quiet time. His hearing aid also helps him learn and expand his vocabulary. Get ready for more ‘Dino-rooaaarrs’! 

Evie is a joyful and giggly baby who loves to make others laugh. She enjoys music and has a unique dance for different tunes. Evie loves kisses, especially on her heart-shaped birthmark, and mimics sounds around her, often copying her big sister Peppa. She has a favourite toy duck named Wakwak, gifted by Peppa and George.

Mummy Pig is a creative, playful and kind mum who is proud of her family and supports them in all their endeavours. She is a modern parent who connects with her children, encourages them to express themselves and spreads joy. Mummy Pig has a great sense of humour, especially with Daddy Pig, and balances logic with fun in parenting. 

Daddy Pig is a fun and responsible dad who balances both aspects of parenting very well. He connects with Peppa, George and Evie by seeing the world from their perspective, encouraging honesty and curiosity. His confidence and encouragement inspire Peppa and George’s self-belief. Daddy Pig loves trying new things and has many hobbies, including magic, drumming and cooking. He stays active with various fitness activities. His best friend is Mummy Pig, and together they form a strong, loving team as parents.  

 Granny Pig is a lively retiree who loves upcycling furniture and doing home crafts. She enjoys playing games with her grandchildren, Peppa, George and Evie, and looking after her chickens and pet parrot, Polly. Granny Pig is always ready to babysit and spend time with her grandchildren.

Grandpa Pig is a crafty outdoorsman and sailor who loves tinkering in his shed. He enjoys taking his boat out and showing Peppa and George the wonders of nature. Grandpa Pig often engages in silly contests with his best friend and rival, Grandad Dog.

Zoe Zebra is Peppa’s friend. She loves to help her Daddy, Mr Zebra the Postman, deliver post to her friends and their families. She also enjoys picnics and playing with her toy monkey.  

Suzy Sheep is Peppa’s best friend. She loves playing dress-up with Peppa, especially nurses and is very musical. Suzy is fascinated by all things scientific and dreams of living on the moon one day. She is confident and isn’t afraid to ask for her turn in the sandpit. She can struggle with changes to her routine and be easily overwhelmed by loud noises, but Peppa and her family are always there to support her.  

Rebecca Rabbit is Peppa’s friend and is very gentle and caring. However, Rebecca also has very strong morals and isn’t afraid to passionately stand up for things when needed until she is pink in the face, just like Peppa!  She loves to dance, especially ballet, and of course, really loves to eat carrots.  

Pedro Pony is Peppa’s friend. He loves cowboys and enjoys watching, reading about, and dressing up like them.  He has a keen interest in the outdoors and nature, with his favourite thing being his pet stick insect, Steven. Pedro can be a little nervous and clumsy but always has Peppa and his friends ready to support him.

Gerald Giraffe is Peppa’s friend and is artistic and creative, often having his head in the clouds. He is emotionally intelligent and empathetic, acting as a wise guide for Peppa and others in the playgroup. Gerald enjoys activities traditionally liked by both girls and boys and sometimes needs encouragement from his friends to be as capable as he can be.   

Freddy is Peppa’s friend and loves solving problems and mysteries, often saying he can ‘sniff out the answers’. He enjoys playing with emergency vehicles and has a great sense of smell and uses it to find his friends quickly when playing hide-and-seek.  Freddy hopes to one day run a shop like his dad, Mr. Fox.  

Emily Elephant is Peppa’s friend and can be shy in new situations but comes out of her shell once comfortable. She loves muddy puddles and mess of all sorts, using her trunk for pranks like spraying water. Emily is strong and enjoys rough and tumble play.  

Danny Dog is Peppa’s friend and loves to be active and outside, especially running around and playing sports like football. He is incredibly outgoing and confident, often coming up with games to play and acting out pirate adventures. Danny is excitable and occasionally clumsy, embodying the definition of leaping before looking.  

Candy Cat is Peppa’s friend and is truly a cat by name and by nature. She is very happy in her own company and is very independent for her age. While she loves to play with her friends and is always considerate, she marches to the beat of her own drum and is happy to do her own thing. Candy loves magic and fantasy stories and will dress up in costumes of that kind whenever she can, often creating stories with Peppa.  

Mandy Mouse is Peppa’s friend and is fearless and competitive, loving all sports, especially basketball and swimming.  She is a wheelchair user but doesn't let it define or limit her. Mandy loves to be the best at things and sometimes needs reminding that winning isn't everything.  

Molly Mole is Peppa’s friend. She is colour blind and loves to dig holes. She lives in the same hill as Rebecca.
